—Sasha Alexander photography
Hi, I'm Sasha and with along my photography assistants we make up the team at Sasha Alexander Photography.
A little Essex village is where me and my wife call home, alongside our four children and Bertie the Frenchie. With over 17 years in the Police Service, and spending my days seeing tears of sadness and the darker side of life, I decided enough was enough and made my passion a career, finally took the leap and so, along came Sasha Alexander Photography.
Now I spend my days surrounded by love, happiness and tears of joy. But, most importantly ... I can finally say I love my boss!
What is documentary photography? Going under the guise of many other names, it can be very confusing. Ultimately it's your day as in unfolds, capturing those precious moments and raw emotions without your photographer interrupting or influencing the day.
So what can you expect from us? You can expect us to be getting right in amongst the action, being the fly on the wall, not ordering people around with three zoom lenses hanging around our neck! Our style is to be as unobtrusive as possible, and hopefully you won't even notice we are there, allowing you to enjoy your day.
What about portraits and group shots? Do you really want to spend an hour or two away from your guests while they drink all the free champagne? We capture the bride and groom 'portraits' in about 10 or 15 minutes, and we do this by just quietly taking the two of you off for a bit of a breather to take it all in, when that realisation first hits you. Those are the moments we love to shoot!
What can we expect our wedding photos to be like? Your pictures will be a visual story of the day, each photograph in context and an honest representation, but most importantly, when you look through your album, you will be taken right back in an instant, to cherish for years to come.
